Squirrel No.9 Nuts

Premium Snacks came to me to ask me to help them create a new brand of peanuts.
We had an initial meeting and they asked me to come up with 3 completely different ideas for a new brand of nuts to be distributed in bars, hotels and luxury hampers. I was given an enormous amount of free reign and so went away and came up with 3 distinct new ideas.
The first was 'Absolutely Nuts!' with bright cheery blocky eye-catching branding and a fun and funky feel. The second was 'Innkeeper Snacks' which was very traditional and based around the idea of the cosy British pub atmosphere in days of old. And the third was Squirrel No.9. Which was a total flight of fantasy about a young squirrel who was 9th in his litter, fell out of a tree when young into a stately home, was adopted and became a nut connoisseur! (I did have a lot of fun with this one!)
Happily they chose Squirrel No.9 and we worked together to come up with the branding and then the packaging for the nuts for salted and dry roasted and then we built a website to promote the product.
I helped advise them on local photographers to do a professional photo shoot for the website, and everyone was delighted with the results.
The peanuts are also delicious and I highly recommend ordering some!
