who i am
Hello, my name is Anne. I'm a freelance graphic designer based in Hertfordshire in the UK.
I set up the humble line in 2020 after freelancing under my own name Anne Wright Design for 4 years. The name came from the idea that all design begins with 'a humble line', that first stroke when you put pen to paper (or wacom pen to tablet) and then the magic happens.
I am available for both digital and print-based projects such as: Branding | Logos | Packaging | Leaflets | Posters | Brochures | Typesetting | Reports | Stationery | Websites | Social Media Banners & ads | CV design... and anything in between.

Branding
Is it engaging? Is it memorable? Is it unique? I believe every design project must offer a resounding “Yes!” to all 3 of these questions. It has to resonate with your customers wherever it goes. I believe your brand is more than just your logo, it should reflect what your company means to you, what is your usp and it should let your personality shine through. I like to create design work that has logical reasoning behind it that you will be proud of.
I have experience across a broad range of printed media, from leaflets, posters, reports, stationery, CV redesign, to full scale brochure design and packaging.
I ensure that all printed media is properly typeset before going to print.

Web & Social
I design mobile and desktop friendly websites for clients predominently on platforms that are easy to then hand over to the client to maintain themselves if they would like to. I am also happy to maintain and amend these websites on a maintence agreement if preferred.
I also create graphics for social media such as banners and adverts, and I create attractive e-newsletters via mailchimp.
surface design
I have taken all 4 modules of the acclaimed MIID Surface Design School and enjoy making fun, original patterns for gifts, homeware, textiles and stationery.
